We are now officially open come and say "Hi" we are here.

The Nottingham Workshop™ is a concept that has finally come to be a reality after years of thinking, debating, learning, studying and investigation.

A place where creativity, architecture, art, creative ecology, science & technology, business and physically making a range of contemporary work can come together. It is not just another pretty building or a scruffy studio but a catalyst where creative ecology happens.

At the moment we are a non-profitable private venture and have created a space where we borrow ideas from the manufacturing industry, stripped out all the "hard and mean" business and created an enviroment that is safe and relaxed where office work and design can happen as well as large scale art fabrication.

We are working on the basis of PAYG rental space in the workshop and slightly longer term for office space. 450sq.m of workshop space, offices, function room and meeting space are all available to be used by all creative residents.

Public art installations, artists, film makers, photographers, designers of all kinds, have you ever had a project but not enough space and money to make it happen? In The Workshop™ you can do all these things and we can work with you so you can get the correct amount of space you require.

What?

The Nottingham Workshop is a 455 sq.m (4900 sq ft) Industrial Unit, 1-2 min walk from a tram stop and 10min tram ride from the heart of Nottingham.

The building comprises a mixture of office space, workshops and gallery/studio space. All available in PAYG, short and longer terms.

Who?

Individuals, companies and organisations can book the spaces for events, presentations, exercise workshops, teaching, meetings, exhibitions or just for a short term if extra space is needed to make a “creative mesh”.
Creatives that wish to experiment further with business and creative work ideas.

Design, create, make, or just visiting Nottingham to do some work

or test the creative waters of the region.

We will also have an online shop so anyone that is part of The Workshop can place their work for sale if they wish. Just ask us how we can do this.
